Christoph Höppener was born in Werne in 1985. He grew up in the Münsterland and later in Neukirchen-Vluyn in NRW. Parallel to his studies in business administration he started his career at the Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb of NRW (BLB NRW) in Düsseldorf.
His main task is to manage the tension between real estate economics and the public interest of expansion of infrastructure in NRW. Since 2007 Christoph has been responsible for major project development in Dortmund. In 2016 Christoph became Assistant to the Executive Board. He is now responsible for linking strategic corporate positioning and operative performance.
In his free time Christoph likes to read a lot and is active in diverse sports. He also loves to travel around the world and to watch movies and TV series.
