Denise Korbmacher was born in Bochum in 1980 and is rooted in the Ruhr Area ever since. During her schooltime she took part in student exchanges and became interested in the French language and culture. After the Franco-German ALevels, Denise studied Social Sciences at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and graduated in 2005. In subsequent years she completed an apprenticeship as a pharmaceutical technician and works in the Alte Apotheke 1691, the oldest Pharmacy in Bochum. She is responsible for the consultation of health issues and medication as well as the preparation of prescriptions. Denise also works as a teacher in Pharmacology in the areas of Nursing and Midwifery.
In her free time Denise spends time with her family and friends, enjoys theatre and cycling. She continues to visit France whenever time allows.
